The Nationwide Contest launched by the M.G.C.A. has a given subject and is addressed to children up to 14 years old from Public and Private Schools and Art Workshops, Childrens Libraries and Museums. The selected artwork is first exhibited at the Cycladic Art Museum, Athens
The selection of the artwork is entrusted to a seven member Committee.
Members of the Committee P. Tetsis, Painter, Member of the Academy of Athens Y.Ch. Papaioannou, Architect N.T.U.A., Dr in Art History Y. Kalliakmani, Painter - Educator K. Koskina, Art Historian I. Criticou, Art Historian B. Begert-Dimitriadou, Psychologist Eva Stamatis, Graphic Designer
The Committee awards equal prizes to all winners, prizes to people with special needs, while all children receive a Diploma of participation.

TERMS OF PARTICIPATION |

Every child can participate with only one entry. |
|
|
Group entries by two children are also accepted. |
|
|
Each Institution may send up to 40 entries. |
|
|
There are no restrictions in the use of materials. |
|
|
Artwork must not exceed 0,70 by 1,00m. and 2 kilos. |
|
|
Each artwork must indicate on the back:

Name, surname, age and address of the participant |
 |
Name and address of the Institution submitting the design duly signed |
 |
Name of responsible art teacher duly signed |

 |
Institutions must attach a separate list of all participants duly signed. |
 |
No entries are accepted after the deadline of the contest. |

Entries to the Contest are not returned. Selected artwork enrich the Museums collections. The M.G.C.A. reserves the right to use the artwork in exhibitions, editions and publications, for studies and research work.
